Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Lynn Aurich maintains a respected psychology private practice. Since 1977, he has offered group and individual psychotherapy services to clients. His range of competencies includes neuropsychological evaluation and psychodiagnostic testing, and he is experienced in behavior therapy. Dr. Lynn Aurich is also active in the Christian community and maintains a thriving Bible ministry. He participates in Evangel House Therapeutic Boarding School retreats as keynote speaker on a twice-annual basis.
Dr. Aurich served in the United States Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. He earned an MA in experimental psychology at the Stephen F. Austin State University in 1970 and subsequently completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. In the mid-1970s, he taught with the Tulane University School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and Neurology. Later, Dr. Lynn Aurich held assistant professor responsibilities with the University of Southwestern Louisiana and accepted a position as co-chair of the Louisiana Psychological Association’s ethics committee.
